ASAM works to address cross-cutting vulnerabilities, striving toward a vision where vulnerabilities are transformed into strengths, and every individual enjoys a life of dignity, safety, equity, and opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About ASAM Greece \u2013 Expanded Vision &amp; Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ASAM Greece <\/strong>was established in 2016 in Athens initially as a Representative Office and later evolved into a branch office of ASAM T\u00fcrkiye, implementing field activities to support vulnerable groups in the Attica region.<br>Our vision in Greece is to strengthen individual and community well-being by providing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) services and fostering inclusive community engagement for refugees, migrants, and other vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ASAM Greece currently implements Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activities, focusing on both individual and group-based interventions. These include structured psychosocial support and psycho-education sessions, as well as community-based group activities aimed at enhancing well-being and resilience.<br>In addition, ASAM Greece organizes group activities that support social cohesion, such as language workshops and community engagement sessions, fostering inclusion and interaction among refugees, migrants, and host communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Position Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the scope of our ongoing and upcoming projects, we are seeking a qualified professional for the position of <strong>Country Representative <\/strong>to be based full-time in Athens, Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The position is offered until <strong>31 December 2026<\/strong>, with the possibility of extension depending on project continuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for ASAM Greece operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects in line with organizational and donor standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent ASAM Greece at national authorities, partners, donors, and other stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and lead new project development and funding opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure effective coordination between programmatic, financial, and operational functions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor budget implementation and ensure efficient use of resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with national legislation and donor requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead, supervise, and support team members, including performance management and capacity building<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure timely and high-quality reporting to headquarter in T\u00fcrkiye and relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen ASAM\u2019s visibility and contribute to advocacy effort<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications and Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in social sciences, international relations, law, business administration, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree is an asset)<br>\u2022 Minimum<strong> 7 years of professional experience<\/strong> in humanitarian, migration, or development sectors, including managerial experience<br>\u2022 Strong understanding of the refugee and migrant context in Greece and current regulations<br>\u2022 Experience in project management, budgeting, and reporting<br>\u2022 Fluency in English and Greek<br>\u2022 Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills<br>\u2022 Experience working in multicultural environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mandatory Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Residency in Greece<br>\u2022 Valid Greek Tax Identification Number (AFM)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your CV in English to <a href=\"mailto:greecehr@sgdd-asam.org\">greecehr@sgdd-asam.org<\/a>, indicating \u201cCountryRepresentative_ASAMGreece\u201d in the subject line.<br>The deadline for applications is <strong>April 3, 2026.<\/strong><br>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-2224","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/asam.org.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/2224","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/asam.org.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/asam.org.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/asam.org.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/2224\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":2227,"href":"https:\/\/asam.org.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/2224\/revisions\/2227"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/asam.org.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2224"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
